I am a Tech Enthusiast who is looking to make a go of it on his own (well for the time being). I have been building computers for about 16 years and curious about them since...well the first time I saw one really. I have been working in retail tech repair as the Lead Tech for my building for 5 years and while I like it there, I believe the time has come for me to branch out on my own.
Once hired, I quickly became the go to for anything diagnostic and repair related. I was the technician customers waited for if busy and requested for home/business visits. I am constantly working on certifications to better myself within the IT space such as additional A+ certification concentrations and Microsoft Certified Professional certification.
I have built several machines for friends and family as well as brought many of their machines back from the dead. I work from home currently and I am gradually transforming the basement into a nice tech service workshop and hope to move a separate place at sometime in the future. Think of me as a handyman, but for tech purposes.
I am based out of Brookfield, but serve the Worcester county area from Sturbridge to Westborough. I can also handle many problems remotely as well, which allows me to reach many more people. I also don't mind making more distant runs, but those may require scheduling in advance.
I would say my biggest asset is that if its something I haven't encountered before I won't give BS answers, I will legitimately tell you this is a new frontier, but will exhaust all resources to figure your problem. However, in the rare event that I can't help you, I will point you in the direction of someone who hopefully can.
